Our company is a full service category A investment bank based out
of London. Their India office is based in Mumbai. The company
believes in India growth story and has been instrumental in
transformation of fast growing Indian mid-cap companies into global
majors. The company is sector agnostic and has undertaken
transactions of more than $ 1 bn in last few years through various
instruments.

The company is into institutional fund raising, M&A, brokerage, and
asset management. The company has recently raised a PE fund to focus
on Indian media and entertainment segments. The company is in
process of raising another fund focused on real estate.

Role
The incumbent will work as part of a team to analyse and provide
Investment Banking – M&A, PE syndication services. The company is
looking for Associates / Senior Associate for the following industry
vertical
1. IT, ITeS
2. Pharma
3. Manufacturing & Industrial
4. TMT or General
The role includes
• Understanding the industry segment, market structure,
players, M&A ideas
• Financial modelling, valuation, target identification, and
structuring of the deal
• Coordination with external consultants relating to the deal
• Coordination with Due Diligence consultants
• Assisting VP / ED in execution of M&A transaction and follow-
up thereafter

Requirements
• Understanding of IT, ITeS sector
• 3 – 4 years of experience as Associate in Investment
Banking – M&A and Private Equity syndication deals. OR Experience in
Corporate development with a company in IT, ITeS sector
• Experience of financial modelling, valuation, structuring
M&A, PE syndication transactions
• Entrepreneurial ability – to establish, lead and grow the
business.
